Tarique Rahman Congratulates Nepal on Successful Parliamentary Elections

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has congratulated the government and people of Nepal following the successful completion of the country’s parliamentary elections held on 5 March 2026.

In a post shared on his verified Facebook account on Monday, the prime minister praised the peaceful conduct of the election and highlighted its significance for Nepal’s democratic process.

“Congratulations to the Government and the people of Nepal on the successful and peaceful parliamentary elections held on 5 March, 2026,” he wrote in the post.

He also added – ” This important democratic exercise reflects the aspirations and resilience of the Nepali people and the strength of their democratic institutions. Bangladesh looks forward to working closely with the new Government and the people of Nepal to further strengthen our longstanding friendship and cooperation.”
