Jamaat ameer exchanges Eid greetings with diplomats, leaders

On the occasion of Eid, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer and Leader of the Opposition, Dr Shafiqur Rahman, hosted a gathering where he exchanged greetings with diplomats, dignitaries, and representatives from various sectors at his official residence in Dhaka.

The event took place at his residence on Minto Road between 11:00am and 12:30pm in a warm and friendly environment, according to a press release.

Diplomats representing a wide range of countries attended the programme, including those from the United States, United Kingdom, China, Tรผrkiye, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Italy, India, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Nepal, Bhutan, Belgium, Singapore, Myanmar, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Palestine, Algeria, Kosovo, Albania, Brunei, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. Representatives from the European Union were also present.

In addition to foreign diplomats, officials from international organisations such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UNESCO, and UNICEF joined the gathering.
