DU Student Threatens Woman with Stick at TSC, 3 member inquiry committee formed

A shocking video from Dhaka University’s TSC (Teachers Student Centre) shows a young man chasing a woman with a stick. It spread quickly on social media after happening early Wednesday morning.
Students named the man as Ahmed Rakib from the 2023–24 batch in the Department of World Religions and Culture. Another student in the video is Shahriar Tushar from Theatre and Performance Studies. Both couldn’t be reached, Rakib’s phone was off, and Tushar hung up.
The clip shows two women, with the man aggressively approaching one while holding a stick. The woman, seen crying, demands justice.
Dhaka University formed a three-member team to check the video and facts.
