The AISU  constitution has officially launched  marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey towards stronger student representation and advocacy. This landmark document, crafted through months of collaborative effort, outlines the AISU’s vision, mission, and structure, paving the way for a more inclusive and impactful future.

WHAT IS AISU?

The All India Student’s Union (AISU) is poised to reach a landmark moment with the official unveiling of its Constitution on March 10, 2025, at 8:30 PM IST. The event, conducted virtually via Google Meet, will unite AISU officials, leaders, and members from across the nation.

This marks a pivotal chapter for the AISU, as it establishes a formal blueprint to guide its organizational structure, aspirations and governance . The Constitution is expected to outline the core principles, rights, and responsibilities of AISU members, solidifying the union’s unwavering commitment to student representation,

AISU representatives have underscored that the upcoming Constitution will serve as the cornerstone of a democratic and transparent student movement, ensuring inclusivity and empowering effective decision-making. This foundational document will be the bedrock for a student union that truly represents and empowers its members.

Respected dignitaries, esteemed members of AISU, and dear students,

It is with immense pride that I, as National Vice-President and Co-Chairperson of the Constitution Drafting Committee, present the Constitution of the All India Students Union (AISU). This document is not just a set of rules — it represents our vision of a united, empowered, and democratic student community.

AISU, a division of the Federation of Indian Youth Association (FIYA) and registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882, with recognition from NITI Aayog, stands committed to fostering student leadership and addressing student concerns nationwide.

The AISU Constitution outlines a transparent, accountable framework for governance and student participation. Our organizational structure — with dedicated departments like the Legal Cell, Press Department, Social Media Cell, IT Cell, Spokesperson Team, and EmpowHer Cell — ensures every student voice is heard and acted upon.

AISU’s student issue resolution mechanism follows a structured process, from formal grievance submission to legal escalation if necessary, demonstrating our commitment to justice. Furthermore, AISU offers unmatched opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, gain experience, and receive valuable experience certificates that enhance academic and professional profiles.
