Pahalgam attack: 2 terror associates arrested in Kulgam, hideout busted in Machil as crackdown continues

Kulgam: In a major breakthrough against terrorism, Kulgam Police, along with the Indian Army and the CRPF’s 18th Battalion, arrested two terrorist associates in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Security forces apprehended Bilal Ahmad Bhat and Mohd Ismail Bhat, both residents of Thokerpora. The arrests took place at a checkpoint set up at Matalhama Chowk Thokerpora in Qaimoh.
The operation marks a major crackdown amidst a massive anti-terror drive launched after the Pahalgam terror attack.

A senior official said that security forces arrested the individuals after conducting a thorough search, during which they recovered arms and ammunition, including two pistols, 25 rounds, and two magazines. The seized weapons indicate that the suspects were planning a major terrorist attack in the region.
