Fire breaks out at a Chemical Factory: Domjur,Howrah

A massive fire broke out at a chemical factory in Domjur, Howrah, West Bengal, causing huge black smoke in the surrounding area.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon prompting the arrival of five fire trucks on the site. Despite the firefighters efforts the fire continued to spread calling for more fire trucks to the scene. It is suspected that the factory caught fire due to leakage of flammable chemicals. The exact reason still remains unknown. As per reports, no one was injured and the workers managed to escape the factory when the fire started but there still remains an uncertainty. Police have initiated an investigation.
