23-year old Kerala woman found hanging in her husbands home days after sharing the pictures of her injuries by the abusive husband. Vismaya V Nair was found hanged in her husband’s home in Kollam district, Kerala. Two days before her death, she sent a message to her cousin pointing out that her husband had brutally abused her regarding the car given as dowry. Vismaya, a BAMS student, married S Kiran Kumar, a motor vehicle department official, in march 2020. Vismayas family has also given one acre of land and 100 sovereigns of gold along with the car. Kiran wanted the cash instead of the car, and he was always verbally abusing vismaya regarding this.

In the message she sent to the cousin, she said her husband had assaulted her, and he pulled back her and stamped her face. And she didn’t tell anyone about the assault. The photos that she shared with her cousin shows the injuries on the face, shoulder and hands.
