A young woman named Archana was found with burned injuries in her husband’s house, Trivandrum, Kerala. Archana,24, whose relative alleges that this incident includes foul play in the death. Her husband, Suresh, had then taken custody following the incident.

Both were having a strained relationship for some time, and relatives said it was regarding the dowry. Suresh’s relative had approached Archana’s family for more dowry, said the relatives.

Archana’s father confirmed that his daughter could not commit suicide. Four days before the Archana’s death, Suresh was at home and had brought one litre of the diesel. And witnesses confirmed that Suresh was not at the home when the incident has happened and fled the spot after the mishap.

Their marriage was a love affair. Though Archana has completed her nursing degree, her husband dint allowed her to go to work.
