Arnab vs Sonia
A little brief about the ARNAB-CONG conflict. Arnab Goswami has had a history of rivalry with the Congress. Well, a few years back the case of the Mysteries Death of Business Women and wife of Congress politician Dr Shashi Tharoor, to this Republic Network, as usual, were very aggressive and were in an attacking reporting system. In this aggression, Republic spoke out many destructing matters and had put a lot of allegations on Dr Tharoor. Congress and Dr Tharoor replied in a legal and a political way. Firstly, the Congress Banned Republic Network from attending all their Media Addresses or Press Conference, Secondly, Dr Tharoor lodged a complaint against Arnab and one of his colleague.
Now, Talking about the recent issue, CMD & Editor In Chief of Republic TV – Mr Arnab Goswami, recently on his debate got furious on the Palghar Lynching issue and Questioned the INC Supremo Sonia Gandhi.
After few days of the debate, one night Arnab Goswami, Editor In Chief ( Republic ) and his wife Samyabrata Ray Goswami, Editor (Republic) were heading home, they were stopped and heckled by Youth Congress Workers.
Then all the Congress CMs used the micro-blogging site Twitter to put on some allegations on Arnab and said #ARRESTARNAB.
When asked to the Congress about the attack on Arnab, they commented: “We aren’t capable to do such attacks”.
Opinion :
When Arnab asked Sonia Gandhi those questions about Palghar Lynching incident, she could have answered it on social media or in a press conference, but she chose not to. But she chose to attack Mr Goswami, which resulted in a new opportunity for the BJP to slam her party for destruction and snatching the freedom of the 4th pillar of Democracy.
When Congress claimed to not have attacked Arnab, why didn’t they condemn the attack? Almost every person condemned this on the social media, which includes BJP Chief JP Nadda, Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy, Former CM of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu, Union I&B Minister Prakash Javdekar, Veteran singer Asha Bhosle and many more condemned this incident but none from the Congress did it, but the youth congress was celebrating by slogans on twitter like “ Youth Congress Zindabad”.
