No Compromise: Youth Congress Spurns CJP Overture Amid Rising NEET Protests

06 June 2026: Cockroach Janata Party has approached Indian Youth Congress for coordination, for its much-touted NEET protest. CJP met with IYC president Uday Bhanu Chib at the latter’s office. ICY said that the online party may have felt the need to know the dynamics of the protest and for organisational coordination. It will help CJP to gain mass acceptance as reported by Times of India on Saturday.

Chib told Times of India that IYC will not share its protest platform with any other organisation. It is arranging its own protests over the serious issues occurring in the nation and seeking accountability from the ruling government. 

Congress is viewing CJP  with serious suspicion, as they believe that the sudden emergence of CJP may be linked with any political upper hand as reported by Times of India. Chib further mentioned that “We will welcome any organization that wants to highlight the issue which concerns the future of our youth. But our joining any other platform is ruled out” reported by Hindustan Times on Saturday. 

The discussion holds skepticism towards CJP labelling it as a destabilizing force. Many criticize Congress for perceived political missteps or aligning with such groups, while a few subtly acknowledge underlying issues or offer support, reflecting a sharp division.
