Complaint Filed Over Alleged Hardik Pandya Flag Insult During Celebrations

A complaint has been filed against Hardik Pandya. Alleging a Hardik Pandya flag insult during the victory celebrations after the T20 World Cup final. An advocate has approached the police in Pune requesting registration of an FIR against the Indian all-rounder.

According to the complaint, Pandya allegedly showed disrespect to the Indian national flag. While celebrating India’s win at a stadium in Ahmedabad. The application claims that the cricketer wrapped the tricolour around his body and behaved inappropriately during the celebrations.

Advocate Seeks FIR Over Hardik Pandya Flag Insult Allegation

The complaint was submitted at the Shivaji Nagar Police Station by advocate Wajid Khan. A police officer confirmed that the application had been received, although no further details were immediately provided.

In the complaint, the advocate argued that the act allegedly committed by Pandya falls under laws protecting the dignity of the national flag. He stated that every citizen has a duty to respect the tricolour and demanded that legal action be taken if the allegations are found to be valid.

The complaint relates to the celebrations following India’s T20 World Cup victory against New Zealand, where players and fans gathered on the ground to celebrate the title win.

Pandya Reflects on World Cup Success

Despite the controversy surrounding the Hardik Pandya flag insult FIR demand. The star all-rounder has been in strong form on the field. Pandya played a key role in India’s campaign, delivering important performances with both bat and ball.
