PM Modi Chairs CEO Roundtable at India AI Impact Summit, Calls for Responsible AI Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a high-level roundtable discussion with leading business executives at the India AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, stressing India’s commitment to harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) for inclusive and sustainable development.

The CEO Roundtable brought together key stakeholders from AI, technology, and innovation to deliberate on strategies for responsibly scaling AI while strengthening global partnerships. The discussions focused on leveraging emerging technologies to drive economic growth, enhance productivity, and promote social good.

In a social media post following the meeting, Prime Minister Modi described the deliberations as “insightful and forward-looking.” He also highlighted that the conversations centred on building robust AI ecosystems, ensuring ethical deployment of technology, and unlocking new opportunities across sectors.

The Prime Minister emphasised the importance of responsible innovation and international collaboration in shaping the future of AI. He noted that it was heartening to witness a shared commitment among industry leaders to utilise artificial intelligence for human progress and sustainable development.

The India AI Impact Summit aims to position India as a global leader in AI innovation while promoting frameworks that ensure transparency, accountability, and equitable access to technology.
