Breakthrough in Defence: India Successfully Tests Indigenous IADWS

24 August-Kolkata, India: On Saturday, India succesfully launched and carried out its first privately developed Integrated Air Defence Weapon System (IADWS), indicating a significant advancement in the nation’s defence readiness, according to officials. Around 12:30 pm, they carried out the test off the coast of Odisha.

The massive development came months later, after tensions with Pakistan briefly increased as a result of India’s military response to the Pahalgam terror incident, Operation Sindoor.
