- Le Monde
- Le Soir

- OCCR
- Direkt

- The Wire.
According to the Pegasus Project, it was alleged that over 50,000 phones were infected by Pegasus. This infections were done by the respective governments. Is this true?
To answer this question, firstly we must ask another one. How much does Pegasus Cost?
According to OCCRP’s report, US$650,000 + UD$500,000 would be the cost to infect 10 iPhones with pegasus. According to the above figures, an estimated cost to infect one phone would be around US$115,000. If as claimed by the Pegasus Project, 50,000 phones were infected, then the NSO Group would have made US$5,750,000,000 (five billion, seven hundred fifty million), but the NSO Group has only made around US$ 243,000 in 2020. They have only made around USD$200,000 to USD$250,000 per year from 2015.
Secondly, these very media houses have written that, out of the 50,000 phones only 67 phones were examined by Amnesty International. Out of the 67 phones examined, Only 23 were infected.
