Twitter Summoned To Be Present In The Standing Commiitee Meeting Of Ministry Of IT
Standing committee on IT to meet on Friday. Issues related to Twitter top the agenda. Twitter officials have been summoned, representatives will be heard in the meeting. @GoI_MeitY officials too called for the meeting.
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information and Technology asks Twitter to appear before them in Parliament Complex on June 18 on safeguarding citizens’ rights and prevention of misuse of social/online news media platforms; special emphasis on women security.
