The Cockroach Party is organizing a protest in Hyderabad on June 14 at Dharna Chowk.

On June 14, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will hold a demonstration in Hyderabad’s Dharna Chowk as part of a statewide campaign calling for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to step down. As per the claims of the organization, the protests will help mobilize people against issues concerning education across the country. From the schedule available on the website of protests through social media, the first protest will be held at Dharna Chowk, Hyderabad, on June 14, at 10 a.m., with another to follow at Freedom Park, Bengaluru, on the same day at 4 p.m. A further series of protests is scheduled to start at Shaheed Smarak, Jaipur, on June 15, at 3 p.m., and on June 20, at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
Mr. Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the CJP, was part of a protest program arranged by his organization on Thursday at SPPU.
Dipke said that the manifesto addresses many significant concerns raised by the students recently, such as prevention of leakage of question papers, prompt declaration of results, transparency in recruiting examinations and entrance exams, and accountability of examiners.
He added that although there are purported limitations on the organization’s social media presence, it is still willing to communicate with the government. “CJP is a significant message for the nation.” The youth cannot be disregarded by the authorities. Try to comprehend the problems that young people confront instead of labeling us as false,” he continued.
Ruchit Ashakamal, a college student, went to the Domalguda police station on Thursday requesting permission to organize a demonstration demanding the cancellation of NEET-UG examination in May at Dharna Chowk from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., involving 150-200 participants, according to police sources. Sonam Wangchuk would participate in this agitation, he added. “Application for permission has been considered,” a police officer from Domalguda police station informed.
Before that, on June 6, they had organized an agitation in Jantar Mantar of New Delhi, where students from many states gathered demanding reforms in education and responsibility for alleged malpractice in competitive examinations. They have gained more recognition after that due to their campaigns on social media related to examination reforms.
