Jharkhand air ambulance crash kills all seven on board

Tragedy struck in Jharkhand’s Chatra district when an air ambulance carrying seven people crashed near Simaria, killing everyone on board. The plane, operated by Redbird Airways Pvt Ltd, was headed to Delhi from Ranchi and lost contact with air traffic control around 20 minutes after takeoff.

The victims include Captain Vivek Vikas Bhagat, Captain Savrajdeep Singh, Sanjay Kumar (the patient), Dr Vikas Kumar Gupta, Sachin Kumar Mishra, Archana Devi, and Dhuru Kumar. The crash site is located in a remote forested area, making rescue operations challenging.

An Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) team has been dispatched to investigate the cause of the crash, with inclement weather suspected as a possible factor.
