Samik Bhattacharya, Bengal BJP chief, is in Delhi meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss poll preparations for the 2026 assembly elections. The meeting is expected to focus on electoral reforms, particularly the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, and infiltration issues.

Shah has directed BJP public representatives to intensify grassroots outreach and hold street-corner meetings daily.
