Republic Day 2026: Delhi Traffic Police Issue Advisory, Check Restricted Routes

Delhi is gearing up for Republic Day 2026, and with it comes a slew of traffic restrictions. The Delhi Traffic Police have issued advisories for January 19, 20, and 21, due to parade rehearsals on Kartavya Path.

Kartavya Path from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will be completely closed to vehicular traffic, and key crossings like Rafi Marg, Janpath, Mansingh Road, and C-Hexagon will be restricted. For North-South travel, use Ring Road via Bhairon Road and Mathura Road. For East-West travel, take Ring Road via ISBT, Chandgi Ram Akhara, and Mall Road.

Restrictions will be in place from 10:15 am to 12:30 pm on January 19, 20, and 21. Plan your commute accordingly and stay updated through official channels for a smooth journey.
