Murder of Nikitha Godishala

Nikitha Rao Godishala was a Data and strategy analyst at Vheda Health in Columbia, Maryland. She was found dead on January 3 inside an apartment in the 10100 block of Twin Rivers Road, Columbia, with apparent stab wounds.

Her ex-lover, Arjun Sharma, reported her as missing on January 2. She was last seen on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025, in Columbia, Maryland. After filing this complaint, he fled to india, this sudden movement raised the suspicion of the investigating agencies. on January 3 detectives found Nikitha dead at Arjun Sharma’s house.

Arjun Sharma is now accused of murdering 27-year-old Nikitha in the US and fleeing to India after committing the crime. Investigators believe that the incident occurred shortly after 7 pm on December 31. Days after her body was located, Interpol has arrested Arjun Sharma from Tamil Nadu, India.
