Obviously we started off with a special knock from Quinny (de Kock) and some really good contributions at the end that got us to a really good total. I thought the bowlers were good in the first game and even better this evening, so they’re definitely trending in the right direction, which is great to see.โ
Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav acknowledged the shortcomings, remarking, โThink should have batted then. I mean, we bowled first and there was not enough we could do. We could have just come back nicely because we bowled first and then later on they realized how the lengths are important on this wicket. But yeah, it’s a learning process. Just learn and move forward. A little bit of dew as well and also if it wasn’t working, we should have had a second plan, but we didn’t go to that.โ
