Kolkata Police Flags off High Energy Promo Run for 2026 Half-marathon
The North Division of Kolkata Police organised a spirited promo run on Monday as part of the build-up to the upcoming Safe Drive Save Life Half Marathon 2026, scheduled for 18 January.
The event was led by Shri Manoj Kumar Verma, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Kolkata accompanied by senior officers from the force.
The enthusiastic run carried a clear and powerful message which is collective responsibility can pave the way for safer roads and a bright future. With road safety at the heart of the initiative, the event encouraged citizens to unite in a cause that impacts every household in the city.
Participants radiated energy and commitment as they ran alongside police personnel, reaffirming community support for the safe Drive Save Life campaign. The Kolkata police shared glimpses of the event capturing moments of enthusiasm, solidarity and shared purpose.
