Investigation probing the Red Fort Blast on 10th November,2025 which killed 15 people and injured several others has uncovered a highly organised Jaish-e-Mohammed ( JeM) module operating across Delhi, Faridabad and Lucknow.

The probe led by central counter terror agencies has revealed an elaborate network involving weapons procurement, explosive manufacturing and large-scale fundraising.

According to officials, four arrested suspects- Dr Muzammil, Dr Shaheen, Dr Adeel and Amir played key roles in planning and executing the attack. Among them, Lucknow-based Doctor, Ms Shaheen referred to as “ Madam Surgeon “ by her associates, allegedly arranged Russian-origin rifles and a deep freezer used for storing temperature-sensitive explosive chemicals.

Investigators believed she mobilised a major portion of the ₹26 lakh raised by the group to finance the operation. 

A breakthrough came with the recovery of a Russian assault rifle from a locker linked to Dr Adeel. Another rifle – an AK Krinkov along with pistols and nearly 2,900 kg of explosive precursor materials had earlier been seized from Faridabad. Forensic teams are analysing the chemicals to determine the exact composition of the IED used in the blast.

Officials say that the group sourced chemicals from NUH, electronic components from Delhi’s Bhagirath Palace and Faridabad’s NIT Market, while a deep Freezer was used to stabilise the explosive mixture . Umar, a key suspect still under scrutiny has reportedly studied bomb-making materials online under the guidance of handlers based in Turkey.

Investigators are also probing possible links to Afirah Bibi, the wife of slain JeM commander and Pulwama mastermind Umar Farooq.

The Union Cabinet has officially declared the Red Fort explosion a “ Heinous terror Attack “, assuring that all those involved will face the strictest punishment as the investigation continues.
