A CTA For And By The NEET-PG Aspirants

Submitted By: Anonymous
I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue affecting thousands of medical aspirants in India. The NEET PG 2025 results, declared by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) on August 19, 2025, have triggered widespread outrage due to significant score mismatches that threaten the fairness and integrity of the examination process.
Score Discrepancies
Numerous aspirants, including myself and peers, have reported discrepancies ranging from 50 to 200 marks between their recall-based expected scores and the official results. These mismatches suggest potential errors in evaluation, normalization, or technical glitches during the exam conducted on August 03, 2025.
Limited Answer Key Release
In response to complaints, NBE announced through a circular the release of an answer key, but it is severely restricted—providing only question IDs without the full questions, options, or explanations.
How can we know the question by only looking at question ID?
Aspirants are demanding full access to recorded responses, complete answer keys with questions and options, and a re-evaluation process to address these anomalies.
Alleged Possibilities of What Could’ve Gone Wrong
- Technical glitch
- One section not evaluated
- Marks for “answered but review” are not evaluated
- Some normalisation process has been done
We don’t know the causes but this could be the reasons, that’s why it needs thorough investigation.
