Why We Are Fighting

Doctors are trained to save lives, but today, many of us are fighting to save our own careers — and even our lives.

The NEET PG 2025 results are riddled with discrepancies. Students who attempted 270+ questions have been awarded mathematically impossible scores. Marks are off by 80, 150, even 200 points. In an exam where 1 mark can shift your rank by 100s, this means 200 marks can destroy the dreams of thousands.

NBEMS is giving the same robotic reply: “All results are correct”. But we know better — careers, marriages, financial futures, mental health, everything depends on this one exam.

Proof of Systemic Failure

• No candidate has received proof of their responses. If NBEMS provided a printout in the exam hall itself or mailed answer copies immediately, none of this confusion would exist.
• Instead, the process is opaque, forcing us to rely blindly on NBEMS’ word.
• When asked for explanations, the same PR answer is given, as if human lives are just statistics.

Stronger Grounds

• Rank shuffling to benefit certain lobbies or quotas.
• Artificial lowering of scores to push candidates towards management/NRI seats.
• Manipulated cut-off engineering for seat control.
• Cover-up of malpractice or paper leak.
• Face-saving for scanning/evaluation errors.
• Pre-decided ranking framework due to unusually fast result release.

More Harmless/Non-Criminal Explanations

• OMR/software processing errors.
• Wrong answer key alignment used in evaluation.
• Misapplied normalization policy.
• Technical glitches during database merging.
• Rushed evaluation due to counselling timelines.

Human Cost

This is not just about numbers.

• Doctors are dying. A 2023 report showed over 150 doctors in India died by suicide in a single year, the majority being postgraduates and young residents.
• Every year, India loses hundreds of brilliant young doctors to depression, exam stress, and systemic neglect.
• Already, on social media, many NEET PG 2025 candidates have openly spoken of ending their lives. The silence and denial from NBEMS is pouring fuel on this fire.

How many more doctors must we lose before someone listens?

Our Demands

• Immediate release of individual response sheets (proof of answers marked).
• Revised result calculation based on transparent answer keys.
• Independent audit of NBEMS evaluation software.
• Acknowledgment that discrepancies exist and urgent redressal before counseling.

Why 2025 Can Be Different

• The judiciary and media are already sensitized — 2024 NEET UG scam exposed that exam bodies can be forced to admit error.
• In 2025, digital evidence, collective voices, and social media are stronger than ever.
• With hundreds of doctors united, and proof of “mathematically impossible marks,” we have a watertight case.

Our Strategy

• Legal: RTIs + First Appeals → escalate to CIC → Writ Petition with senior advocates.
• Media: Open letters, press coverage, open-ed opinion pieces.
• Social Media: Sensational but dignified campaigns showing real doctor voices.
• Unity: Contribute ₹100–200 each. A few lakhs from our side ensures top lawyers and gives weight to our fight.
