Sagnik Ghosh Appointed as State President, West Bengal – All India Students’ Union (AISU)

The All India Students’ Union (AISU) proudly announces the promotion of Mr. Sagnik Ghosh to the esteemed position of State President, West Bengal, as per Executive Order No. AISU/2025/EO06, dated 18-03-2025 and officially issued on 5th August 2025.

Sagnik Ghosh, an advocate by profession and a passionate supporter of student rights, has been an active and dedicated member of AISU. In 2024, he joined AISU as the State Convenor of the Legal Cell, West Bengal, where he worked tirelessly to address legal concerns and uphold the rights of students across the state.

Recognizing his exceptional commitment, leadership qualities, and contribution towards empowering students, the National Executive Committee of AISU has promoted him to the role of State President, West Bengal. His proactive involvement in legal advocacy and student welfare initiatives has made a lasting impact on the AISU community in the region.

Upon receiving the promotion, Sagnik Ghosh stated:

“It is an absolute honor to be appointed as the State President of AISU, West Bengal. I remain committed to upholding justice, advocating for student rights, and creating an environment where every student feels heard, protected, and empowered. I thank the leadership of AISU for trusting me with this responsibility, and I look forward to working with unwavering dedication to serve the student community of West Bengal.”

The leadership of AISU, including Chairman, FIYA and National President, AISU – Digamber Kumar Dubey, National Vice-President – Sai Krishna, and National General Secretary – Navneet Singh, congratulates Sagnik on his promotion and expresses full confidence in his ability to continue driving positive change for students.
