CREDAI partners with Adani Cement to promote workforce training and sustainable construction

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), representing over 13,000 private real estate developers, has announced a strategic partnership with Adani Cement to promote sustainable construction practices and enhance workforce skills in the sector.
Under this collaboration, Adani Cement will serve as CREDAI’s preferred provider of GRIHA-certified products, offering green concrete solutions, advanced construction additives, and technical services. The company will also deliver on-site technical support and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill engineers and construction professionals within the CREDAI network.
Launch of Green and Skilling Councils
The partnership includes the creation of two dedicated bodies: the Green India Council and the Skilling Council.
The Green India Council will drive sustainability initiatives such as large-scale reforestation, urban forest development, greening public spaces, and nationwide adoption of green building standards.
Vinod Bahety, CEO of Adani Cement, stated, “By joining hands with CREDAI, we aim to accelerate the adoption of world-class cement products and green concrete solutions in India’s real estate sector. This collaboration supports our vision of building a greener, smarter urban future.”
Meanwhile, the Skilling Council will focus on addressing persistent skill gaps within the real estate workforce. With support from CREDAI’s state chapters and members, the council will lead large-scale upskilling programs across the country. The first phase—launching by mid-July 2025—aims to train over 15,000 workers in 25 cities.
CREDAI President Shekhar Patel emphasized the importance of these efforts, noting, “The launch of the Green India Council and Skilling Council is a decisive step toward embedding sustainability and workforce development at the heart of the real estate sector. These initiatives reflect CREDAI’s commitment to driving economic growth while protecting the environment and uplifting communities.”
