The intense gusts, paired with heavy rain, darkened the skies and caused buildings to sway, giving many the sensation of an earthquake. Travel Chaos as Delhi NCR Dust Storm Hits Aviation

The unexpected storm wreaked havoc at Indira Gandhi International Airport. As a result, more than 15 flights were diverted due to low visibility and turbulent weather conditions.
