Rape Under the Guise of Treatment: Maharashtra Psychiatrist Arrested

Sexual abuse of young women and minors in the name of mental treatment! The 47-year-old psychiatrist was finally caught by the police after running this crime for 15 years. This sensational incident happened in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The police have started investigation by filing a case under POCSO Act against the accused.

According to police sources, the accused psychiatrist used to go to remote areas and camp in the name of mental treatment. All these camps were settled in places like Bandara, Gondia. The accused used to rape and molest minors in the name of counseling there. This case was going on for years. Not only this, it is alleged that while carrying out the scams, the hidden pictures of the victims were recorded on camera and then blackmailed by showing the pictures. Although the victim got married later, there are allegations against him of blackmailing and raping him using the secret photo.

Apart from running camps outside, the accused doctor also raped several women in his own area. The accused doctor also committed the same crime with one of his students. After being blackmailed, threatened and raped by the psychopath, he finally filed a complaint against the accused at Hudkeshwar police station. The accused was arrested. After that the whole incident came to light.

According to the police, apart from minors, numerous young women and housewives are also accused of raping the psychopath. All the victims of this torture are requested by the police to come forward. The police have already filed a case against him under the POCSO Act and the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes Act in addition to rape. The investigation of the whole incident is going on.
