Rahul disqualified, Congress leaders miss logic
A day after a Surat court convicted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case, he has been disqualified from the Lok Sabha. He has lost all the perks of being a member of Parliament. Congress party members lashed out against the government calling it a political vendetta.
Soon after the Surat court convicted Rahul Gandhi, the congress put a profile picture of ‘Daro Math’, which roughly translates to ‘Don’t Fear’.
According to the rule book of Lok Sabha, any Member of Parliament who is sentenced to jail for 2 years or more, that member would be disqualified. Using this rule, the Lok Sabha secretariat has disqualified Rahul Gandhi.

Funny part is that the Congress party claims that Rahul Gandhi is being purposely kept out of Lok Sabha by the BJP.
Rahul Gandhi is not a strong voice in the Parliament. He speaks once, and has the lowest attendance percentage as an MP.
Background
