IIT Delhi Launches 6-Month Advanced Certificate in Agentic AI: Fee, Eligibility, Modules and Key Details Inside

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has announced a 6-month online Advanced Certificate Programme in Agentic AI, focused on autonomous systems and enterprise-grade deployment.
According to the official website, the programme is designed to provide learners with a deep understanding of autonomous AI systems and their real-world applications. The live online sessions will be delivered by IIT Delhi faculty.
The curriculum will offer hands-on exposure to more than 10 industry-grade tools, including LangChain, AutoGen and CrewAI. Each module will end with a practical project, leading to a final enterprise capstone project where learners will design, build and deploy a fully functional AI agent.
Course Details, Fee and Schedule
The programme will begin on September 26, 2026, and conclude on March 20, 2027. Live online classes will be conducted on Saturdays from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
The course fee is Rs 1,45,000 plus 18% GST.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be graduates or diploma holders with a minimum of one year of work experience. Basic Python scripting ability and a conceptual understanding of AI/ML are recommended.
Modules Covered
1. Foundations of Agentic AI & Autonomous Systems
2. LLMs as Reasoning Engines for Agentic Systems
3. Designing Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems
4. Agentic Workflows, Automation & Decision Orchestration
5. Real-World Agentic AI Engineering (RAG, Deployment, Governance)
6. Capstone Project: Enterprise-Ready Agentic AI System
Learning Outcomes
As per IIT Delhi, learners will understand how autonomous agents observe, reason and act, learn to turn LLMs into reliable reasoning engines, design single and multi-agent systems, build end-to-end workflows at scale, and develop production-ready solutions with RAG and long-term memory.
The programme also focuses on trust, governance, risk management and human-in-the-loop controls to ensure responsible autonomy in enterprise adoption.
