Nation Pays Tribute to 26/11 victims

India marks another anniversary of the Mumbai attack of 26/11 today. Tributes pour in across the country, as the nation remembers the brave hearts and victims of the 2008 terror attack. The incident still haunts many, considering the innocent life lost.

On the night of 26 November 2008, 10 heavily armed militants entered the premises of the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. What followed next was bloodshed, turning into a scene of terror. Gunfire shots and grenade explosions shook the heart of the city. Amidst the horror, the bravery of the hotel staff saved many guests. National security forces and Mumbai police launched a commendable rescue operation and neutralised the terrorists.

Today, India stands in solidarity, honouring and saluting the courage of the victims and heroes of the 26/11 terror attack.
