Sonia Gandhi Rushed To Hospital In Shimla ; Now Discharged

Shimla : After her health declined in the hill station on Saturday, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi was taken to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla.
The 78-year-old veteran Congress politician was brought to the hospital for examinations and tests. Following the completion of the testing, she was released.
She was sent to the hospital for a routine checkup because of “minor issues,” according to Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, who confirmed the development to the media.
He stated, “Due to some minor health issues, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has been brought to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla for a routine health check-up.”
The article further stated that she is undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
On May 27, Sonia Gandhi made her final public appearance at Jawaharlal Nehru’s memorial Shanti Van in Delhi, where she paid floral homage to the country’s first prime minister on the 61st anniversary of his passing.
