Among those arrested is Sikandar Yadavendu, a junior engineer employed by the Danapur Municipal Council, indicating the involvement of individuals in positions of authority. The police seized a Duster car with a Jharkhand registration number, along with mobile phones, providing crucial evidence in the ongoing probe. During interrogation, Ayush disclosed alarming details of the premeditated cheating operation, revealing that he received the question paper and answers one day prior to the exam. Mafia members, stationed at the Learn Boys Hostel and Learn Play School in Khemnichak, memorized the answers, enabling Ayush and approximately 20-25 other students to cheat with impunity during the exam.

The unraveling of the scandal intensified with the discovery of Ayush’s admit card in a car intercepted by authorities. Subsequent investigations led the police to various examination centers, where individuals involved in the cheating racket were apprehended.
