Uncovering Shadows: Tragic Death of 17-Year-Old NEET Aspirant Sparks Allegations of Conspiracy and Cover-Up

A mysterious death case of a 17 year old girl, NEET aspirant, has come to light, after her sister took to X to share the unfortunate series of events, which took place on the 14th of July, this year.

Riti Saha, 17 year old girl from Kolkata had got herself admitted to Aakash Byjus’ institution for NEET coaching at Vishakhpatnam after completing class 10. She stayed at Sadhana Ladies Hostel and attended Achiever’s Junior College for grade 12, on the recommendation made by Aakash Byjus.
On the 14th of July 2023, Riti’s father received a call from Ravikant of Aakash Byjus, saying Riti has fallen off the 3rd floor of the hostel building and had received grave injuries. He also informed Riti’s father that his daughter was rushed to a local hospital named Venkatarama Hospital. Unfortunately, on 16th July 2023, Riti succumbed to multiple cardiac arrests and organ failures.
Riti’s sister, Sukriti Saha says that a Post Mortem was conducted.
After Riti passed away, the family went to the police station to file an FIR alleging that their daughter was murdered. Andhra Pradesh cops refused to file any case. Family also said that they were offered huge amount of cash by Aakash Byjus to NOT FILE FIR.
Sukriti also says that the cops suggested the family not to go to the court and settle the matter outside. Riti’s mortal remains were brought back to Kolkata on the 18th of July.
Riti’s father filed a Writ Petition at the High Court of Andhra Pradesh against the inaction of cops in collecting evidence from Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), Hospitals and Hostel.
The HC appointed Adv Ms. K.Priyanka Lakshmi as the Advocate Commissioner and ordered her to collect and examine the CCTV footage in the presence of Riti’s father and the local police.
According to family sources, Advocate Commissioner was highly disappointed about how badly the case was handled by the police. Crime Scene was not sealed and samples from the crime scene were not collected. Most of the evidences were destroyed.
Court has asked the respondents i.e State of Andhra Pradesh, The Commissioner of Police, The Station House Officer IV Town Police Station, Sadhana Ladies Hostel, Venkatarama Hospital & Care Hospitals to file a reply within 21 days and has asked the Advocate Commissioner to file her report in 15 days.
Family accuses that Aakash Byjus, Hospital, Police and Hostel are trying to prove, Riti killed herself.
