After student kills self, University asks students to fix reputation on social image
After the death of Aditya Prabhu, 19, a first year student at PES University, the university’s management has asked students to fix the reputation of the university on social media. Newstapone.com has accessed a Whats App text sent to a group of students by the management.

This is regarding the social media backlash on the University in the aftermath of the unfortunate demise of Aditya Prabhu. This is a request to all clubs to start a social media campaign ‘We
love PES University’. Please post this on all your social media handles. In the content, it is important to first express anguish at the unfortunate demise of Aditya Prabhu. There is a need to bring out the postive vibes in the campuses and that the University provides a platform for all types of students. There is a need to tell he world that we have 80 and odd student clubs and a great spread of activites, besides the placement and internship opportunities. There is a need to mention that even the malpractice review is very fair and transparent.
While addressing the students in the group asked the students to post ‘We love PES University’ on all their social media accounts. Firstly, the University is asking the students to express anguish over Adithya Prabhu’s death and then speak about the positive aspects of the college.
