BJP-NCP talks were held at a businessman’s house in 2019: Ajit Pawar

Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar speaking in a public meeting confirmed talks were held between BJP and NCP after the 2019 Maharashtra State Legislative Assembly elections. Ajit Pawar also said Praful Patel [MP from Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP] was present in the meeting, which took place in a top businessman’s residence in Mumbai.

While speaking at the very same event, Ajit Pawar took jibes at Sharad Pawar. He says his MLAs respect Sharad Pawar but he is very stubborn. He also revealed about phone calls between him and Supriya Sule [Sharad Pawar’s daughter and MP], in which he requested Supriya Sule to convince Sharad Pawar, to Supriya replied stating Sharad Pawar was very stubborn and was not agreeing.
