UNSC has no plans to send peacekeeping force to Sudan – spokesman tells News Tap One

For the first time, combat erupted throughout Khartoum and other locations in Sudan as two strong competing military factions engaged in battle. This increased the likelihood of a national civil war and engulfed the capital city in turmoil. The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of Sudan claimed that a 72-hour ceasefire began at 0400 GMT on Friday, however Reuters reported that inhabitants of Khartoum and Bahri, a sister city, heard gunshots as Sudanese forces moved through the towns on foot.
The United Nation’s Security Council [UNSC] released a press release on the 15th of April, expressing deep concerns over the military clashes taking place in Sudan.

In an ‘eXclusive’ communication, the Deputy Spokesman to the Secretory General of the United Nations told Sai Ram B [Founder and Editor at News Tap One] that they currently have no plans sending the United Nation’s Peacekeeping Force to the conflict hit Sudan.
In the last press release on Sudan, the UNSC had also said that the humanitarian aid must keep going.
The members of the Security Council stressed the importance that humanitarian access is maintained and the safety of United Nations personnel is ensured. The members of the Security Council reaffirmed their strong commitment to the unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of the Sudan.
