Delhi Lakshmi Yojana: First Installment of Rs 2,500 to be Credited From Today – Know How to Spend via CBDC Wallet & Check Status

New Delhi: Good news for women of Delhi. September has brought a gift for them. The two-year wait is over, as the first installment of Delhi Lakshmi Yojana will start crediting from today, September 1.

Last week on August 26, sanction letters were distributed to 4,190 eligible women at Talkatora Stadium by CM Rekha Gupta. The government had announced that money will be credited every month from September 1. 0b43

How will you get Rs 2,500?
The full Rs 2,500 will not come as cash. As per the final model:

• Rs 1,000 will be credited to your CBDC e-Rupee Wallet for daily spending.
• Rs 1,500 will go to your Fixed Deposit (FD/RD) account. This amount with interest will be available after 3 years (2029). The government may review it after 2 years. 0b43

What is CBDC Wallet & How to use it?
The money will come as e-Rupee, not cash. You cannot withdraw it from ATM, but you can spend it like normal money where e-Rupee is accepted.

How to activate:

1. Download your bank’s e-Rupee wallet from Play Store (e.g., if your account is in HDFC, download ‘HDFC Bank Digital Rupee’)
2. Login with your bank-registered mobile number
3. Create your name and PIN
4. Complete eKYC with your Debit Card number and PIN
5. Your Rs 1,000 will appear in this wallet for UPI-like payments.

How to check Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Status?
Go to the official portal dly.delhi.gov.in and click on Track Application to check your application status.

Delhi Lakshmi Yojana: Rs 2500 Kist From Today

If you have received the sanction letter for Delhi Lakshmi Yojana and your verification is complete, you will start getting money from today. The scheme is for women aged 21-60 with family income below Rs 2.5 lakh.

Delhi women will get first kist of Rs 2500 from today, 1st Sept. Rs 1000 in CBDC e-Wallet for spending, Rs 1500 in FD.
