US Urges Americans to Leave 14 Middle East Countries Amid Rising Tensions

The US Department of State has issued an urgent advisory for American citizens to immediately leave over a dozen countries in the Middle East, citing serious safety risks amid escalating tensions between the US, Israel, and Iran.
The countries included in the advisory are Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.The US Embassy in Amman, Jordan, had earlier announced that its personnel had departed the site due to a threat.
US Secretary of State emphasizes the safety and security of American citizens is the top priority, urging Americans to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for updates from the nearest US embassy or consulate.
