Metro Services in Kolkata to be Reduced on Holi

Metro services in the city will be significantly curtailed on Holi, with reduced frequencies across all lines. The Blue Line will operate 60 trains (30 up, 30 down) instead of the usual 272, while the Yellow Line will see 44 trains (22 up, 22 down) instead of 120.
The Green Line will have 45 trains (23 up, 22 down) instead of 228, and the Purple Line will operate 38 trains (19 up, 19 down) instead of 84. The Orange Line will see 28 trains (14 up, 14 down) instead of 62.
Services will commence at 2 PM, with last train timings remaining unchanged. Notably, the Orange and Purple Lines will be completely shut. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
