BNP Pledges Full Implementation of July National Charter

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Salahuddin Ahmed has reaffirmed the party’s firm commitment to implementing the July National Charter exactly as signed, describing it as a key document of political consensus following the recent national elections.

Today at 12:30 pm at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, Salahuddin Ahmed (a member of BNP’s standing committee and the newly elected MP from Cox’s Bazar-1) shared details from the party’s first parliamentary party meeting.

The meeting was led by BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. During the meeting, Tarique Rahman issued two clear directives to all BNP MPs- no one should accept duty-free car facilities, and no one should take government plots.

“Change starts from today,” Salahuddin Ahmed told the media. “Being an MP in this country no longer means they will be more equal than everyone else.”
