News Tap One Bengal Survey 2026
The News Tap One Bengal Survey is an independent public-opinion study designed to capture the political mood, electoral expectations, and ground-level concerns of voters ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Assembly Election. This survey aims to map how people across districts perceive governance, development, welfare delivery, law-and-order, and electoral fairness as the state prepares for one of its most closely watched elections.
The study collects responses from diverse socio-economic and demographic groups through a mixed methodology that includes field interviews, telephonic interactions, and digital submissions. The goal is to generate an authentic, data-driven understanding of voter sentiment at a time of intense political competition, voter-list revisions, and heightened public attention to transparency.
The survey focuses on a wide range of indicators such as leadership preference, satisfaction with current administrative performance, trust in institutions, issue-based priorities, and overall voting intent. It also tracks perceptions around unemployment, social welfare schemes, corruption, local development, identity-based politics, and safety.
Through this survey, News Tap One seeks to provide an unbiased, representative picture of West Bengal’s political landscape, enabling citizens, analysts, policymakers, and stakeholders to understand emerging trends and the factors shaping voter behaviour in 2025–26.
