The Beas, Ravi, and Sutlej rivers are overflowing, creating extremely dangerous conditions for nearby communities and agricultural lands. Many villages in Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, and Fazilka are now submerged, forcing thousands of residents to evacuate homes and seek temporary shelters. Schools remain closed to protect students, while authorities have already moved rescue teams into flood-prone zones.
