Pakistan’s Information & Broadcasting Minister, Fawad Choudhry on Tuesday said that Pakistan’s upcoming tour with England wont be broadcasted in Pakistan due to license issue with Indian broadcasters. Minister also said that PTV’s request for a contract with Indian Broadcasters Star & Asia, who have rights to Air the match, was rejected.
Fawad Chaudhry also said that Pakistan would approach the England Cricket Board to find out a solution, as Pakistan would not do any kind of Business with Indian Companies due to the repeal of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution on August 5th, 2019, when Government of India revoked the special status given to Kashmir.ย
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and PTV will indeed face considerable losses as a result of this, the information minister added.
