26 May 2026: The Sarsuna Police have registered a case alleging the drugging and gang rape of a minor girl, along with the obscene video recording of the whole process. The video was made as a weapon to threaten her.

The case was registered under section 123, 351(2) and 61(2) of Bhartiya Naya Sanhita, read with sections 4,6, and 10 of Pocso Act. According to the reports the complaint allegedly occurred between April 17 and 18. The girl’s mother said her daughter was approached at Behala and offered a lift. The girl allegedly got into the car, where two unknown men and one of her school friends were present, reported by Times of India. 

She was taken to an unidentified location where the accused committed penetrative sexual assault to her. The whole incident took place when she was unconscious due to the sedative effect. 

The complaint stated that the girl is in trauma for which the family failed to lodge an immediate FIR of the incident. Cops rectified that an investigation has been initiated to trace the accused and to verify the alleged role of the school friend.

Efforts are also taken into great consideration to identify the vehicle and the location where the assault had happened. The official statement of the victim is recorded and focus is on the quick action procedure by the police and the investigating team.
