Delhi gears up for NAMO Book Festival 2026; Showcases 400+ Books and Youth-Focused Discussions
The first edition of the NAMO Book Festival commenced on January 16, 2026 at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi, bringing together writers, thinkers, policymakers, diplomats and a large number of students and young readers for a two-day celebration of books, ideas and youth engagement.
The festival, officially inaugurated by Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh, showcases a curated exhibition of more than 400 books written by and about Prime Minister Narendra Modi across multiple categories, and features panel discussions, author interactions and thematic sessions focused on leadership, governance, culture, national security and Indiaโs global role.
In addition to the book displays and debates, the event has introduced a special segment called the “Gen V Fest”, designed to reframe Indiaโs Generation Z as Gen V, a generation envisioned as contributors to nation-building and long-term development rather than mere disruption.

Day 1 sessions examined themes such as cultural revival, security and diplomacy, while the second day is set to highlight governance, economics and youth engagement, with student debates and idea challenges encouraging young participants to engage directly with public policy and leadership ideas.
The event has attracted strong participation from students of more than 30 colleges and over 200 schools alongside prominent authors and speakers, and was attended by Delhiโs Chief Minister as the chief guest, underscoring the festivalโs role as a platform for intellectual exchange and public discourse on Indiaโs transformation.
