ED gives clean chit to Republic TV in TRP case
A report by the Press Trust of India has reported that Enforcement Directorate in its final report filed in a Mumbai court, has clearly mentioned that there is no evidence against Republic Media Network.
Sensational Details of the Chargesheet:
1. ED probed the allegations on Republic TV, alleged by Mumbai Police thoroughly, but there was a ‘Variance’ in the investigation done by ED to the same done by Mumbai Police.
2. Regional managers of BARC, who have accepted to have bribed households to watch a few channels have said that they have not told any household to watch Republic TV in exchange of Monetary benifits.
3. The forensic audit which the Mumbai Police relied on, was of a very small aspect.
