Answer: Not just because of violence prevailed for several days, but people are suffering as there was a severe shortage of medicine, fuel, gas and most essential items due to the foreign exchange crisis.Â
Question: What will convince the anger of the people of Sri Lanka to stop violence?
Answer: People are urging the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to resign. They were demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa earlier and got success. A new PM was appointed a few hours ago. Now the situation has returned back to normal but still protesting against the President.Â
Question: What was the contribution of the Leadership of Sri Lanka, for the Nation to come to this stage?
Answer: The current economic crisis did not happen overnight. It is a result of corruption and mismanagement of the Governments since independence. Most politicians have corruption charges against them. But the people did not oppose the way they are opposing now. The reason why things are a bit heated up here is the severe foreign exchange crisis and its effects on imports.

It is really difficult to explain the reasons behind the current economic crisis. But they hid the truth. The fake control of the dollar rate had a negative impact on the country’s economy. Â
Question: As also speculated by some Media, the role of a foreign country is being reported as responsible for Sri Lanka’s situation today, how true is it?
