Neeraj Chopra Ready for Diamond League Showdown in Zurich
25 August-Kolkata, India: Indian Olympic winner and javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will compete again in the Diamond League Final in Zurich, Switzerland. The men’s javelin throw competition will take place from August 27 to August 28, with the competition’s final scheduled for August 28.
Despite missing out with his latest silesia leg injury, world champion and two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj had already advanced to the final. He earned enough points for making the cut thanks to his prior outstanding performances.
Diamond League Finals List
Earlier this season, Neeraj Chopra came in second place to Germany’s Julian Weber in the Doha Diamond League. Chopra also set a new national record of 90.23 meters. With an amazing throw of 88.16 meters, he also won the leg in Paris.
